What you'll actually pay

The headline price is rarely the bill. Here's what HubSpot adds on top, quoted from its pricing page, and a month priced out.

Worked example

Customer Agent, 250 resolutions

HubSpot's AI Customer Agent resolves 250 conversations a month. It needs Service Hub Professional or Enterprise.

Customer Agent, 250 resolutions$0.50 per resolution
$125
Totalper month, for the AI alone, plus the extras below
From $125

Plus: Seats on Professional, which we couldn't confirm for every region, and a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee for Professional.

HubSpot counts a Customer Agent resolution when the AI helped and the conversation wasn't handed to a human for 72 hours.

The same volume on ChatBento (our product)

Hobby$8 a month

2,000 AI messages / month, AI answers included, no seats or per-resolution fees.

An illustration from HubSpot's published prices, not a quote. Most examples use the same month: 500 conversations, about 2 AI replies each, 2 people on the team, and the AI resolving half the conversations. On top of the plan price

Is HubSpot worth it?

HubSpot is a live chat and help desk tool, so its price pays for a support team's toolkit. Whether that's worth it depends on how much of it you'd use.

What the money buys

Worth it if

  • You already run sales or marketing in HubSpot and want every chat on the contact's CRM record.
  • You need ticketing, SLAs and a knowledge base alongside chat.
  • Two people answering live chat for free is all you need, and you don't need AI answers.
  • You want the AI agent on email, WhatsApp and Messenger too, and per-resolution pricing suits your volume.

Harder to justify if

  • Only one or two people would use it, and you'd rather not pay for each seat.
  • You want one predictable bill, without the usage-based charges listed above.
  • You mainly need AI answers on your website, which ChatBento does from $8 a month.

A cheaper option: ChatBento

ChatBento is our product. It's an AI chatbot for your website: it learns from your pages and Q&As, answers visitors around the clock, captures leads and emails you when a person is needed. One flat monthly price, AI included, no seats. Its lowest paid plan is $8 a month; HubSpot's starts at $90.
