Install on Squarespace in 5 steps
Where it goes: Settings → Developer tools → Code injection → Footer

In ChatBento, open your chatbot, go to Install and copy the one-line snippet.

In Squarespace, open Settings and go to Developer tools → Code injection. (On older sites it's under Settings → Advanced → Code injection.)

Paste the snippet into the Footer field.

Click Save.

Open your live site in a new tab and click the chat bubble in the corner to test it.

Code injection isn't available on Squarespace's Personal plan. If you don't see the setting, your plan doesn't include it.
Only on one page
To show the chatbot on a single page, use that page's own code injection (page settings → Advanced) instead of the site-wide footer.
Testing while logged in
If the bubble doesn't appear in the editor, open the live site in a private window. Injected code is meant for the published site.
