Yes. The Free plan is free forever: 50 AI messages a month, one chatbot trained on up to 50 pages, lead capture and human handoff, with a small “Powered by ChatBento” link in the widget. New accounts also get a 14-day trial with 200 messages first, no card required.

### How is ChatBento 80% cheaper than Chatbase?
Each ChatBento plan costs one fifth of the matching Chatbase plan. Chatbase lists Hobby at $40/month, Standard at $150/month and Pro at $500/month (checked October 20, 2026). ChatBento charges $8, $30 and $100 for the same tiers.

### What does the chatbot learn from?
ChatBento trains on the pages of your website plus any docs and FAQs you add. It answers visitors from that content, so you control what it knows.

### Can visitors talk to a real person?
Yes. When a visitor asks for a human, or the AI can't answer, ChatBento collects their contact details and hands the conversation to your team.

### Can I customize how the widget looks?
Yes. You can set the accent color, the avatar, the greeting message, and whether the widget sits in the bottom-left or bottom-right corner of your site.

### What counts as a message?
One message is one AI reply sent to a visitor. Your plan's monthly message allowance resets at the start of each billing period.
