In ChatBento, open your chatbot, go to Install and copy the one-line snippet.

In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes. Next to your current theme, open the … menu and choose Edit code.

Open layout/theme.liquid and paste the snippet just above the closing </body> tag.

Open your live site in a new tab and click the chat bubble in the corner to test it.

The snippet lives in your theme's code. If you switch to a new theme, or install a fresh copy of it, add the snippet to that theme's theme.liquid too.
Teach it your policies
Add your store address so ChatBento reads your product pages and policies. For details that aren't written anywhere (delivery cut-offs, return exceptions), add them as Q&As so answers are exact.
