Capture leads with an AI chatbot.

Most visitors who leave without filling in a form had a question first. A chatbot that answers that question, then asks for an email at the moment the visitor wants a follow-up, turns the conversation itself into the lead.

The problem

Contact forms ask for commitment before giving anything back. A visitor who just wants to know whether you serve their area or fit their budget has to write an email and wait, and many simply leave.

When a lead does arrive through a form, it usually comes without context. You get a name and an address, but not what the person read, asked or worried about before they reached out.

How ChatBento handles it

Answers first, asks second

The chatbot answers from your own pages, docs and Q&As. When a visitor asks for a person, wants to be contacted, or asks something your content doesn't cover, it shows a short form: name (optional), email and a note.

Every lead arrives with its conversation

Each submission is emailed to you, or to the address you set, together with the chat that led to it and the page the visitor was on. You reply knowing exactly what they asked.

A list you can export

Leads also collect in the dashboard's Leads tab, where you can download them as a CSV file for your CRM or mailing tool.

A visible way to reach you

A "Talk to a human" link sits in the chat window, so visitors who would rather skip the AI can leave their details straight away.

Set it up in 5 steps

  1. 1

Add your website so the chatbot learns your services, pricing pages and service areas.

  2. 2

Add Q&As for the questions that come right before a sale, such as "Do you work with companies my size?" or "How soon can you start?".

  3. 3

Keep Human handoff and lead capture switched on in Customize, and set the email address leads should go to in Settings.

  4. 4

Write a greeting that invites a question, and add up to four suggested questions that match what buyers ask.

  5. 5

Paste the script tag on your site and send yourself a test lead from the live widget.

What to measure

Leads per week

Count new rows in the Leads tab and compare them with the contact-form submissions you got before.

Lead-to-customer rate

Tag chatbot leads in your CRM and check how many become paying customers compared with other sources.

Questions before a lead

Read a sample of conversations in the inbox to see which questions people ask just before they leave their email, then improve those answers.

Where it stops

The form collects a name, an email and a note. It doesn't score leads, book meetings or push contacts into a CRM automatically; you export the CSV or forward the emails yourself.

Lead capture questions. Answered.

When does the chatbot ask for an email?

When a visitor asks for a person, asks to be contacted, or asks something your content doesn't answer. Visitors can also open the form at any time with the "Talk to a human" link.

What does a lead include?

The visitor's email, their name and note if they gave them, the page they were on, and the conversation that came before. It arrives by email and appears in the Leads tab.

Can I send leads to a shared inbox?

Yes. Set any address under "Send lead emails to" in the chatbot's settings, for example sales@yourcompany.com. If you leave it empty, leads go to your account email.

Is a chatbot better than a contact form for leads?

It depends on your visitors, but a chatbot lets people get an answer before they hand over an email, and you receive the context with the lead. Many sites keep both.
