Put the script tag in index.html, before </body>. The widget attaches once and stays open across client-side route changes.
Next.js
Add it to your root layout with next/script: <Script src="https://chatbento.com/widget.js" data-bot-id="your-bot-id" strategy="afterInteractive" />. Data attributes are passed through to the script tag.
Content Security Policy
If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy header, allow https://chatbento.com in script-src (to load the widget) and in connect-src (for chat requests).

Yes. Add the script to the site footer or base layout. In Ghost that's Settings → Code injection → Site footer.
How big is the script?
About 6 KB compressed. It loads asynchronously, so it doesn't block your page from rendering.
Can I stop other sites from using my chatbot?
Yes. List your domains under Allowed websites in the Install tab. Requests from any other site are refused, so nobody else can use up your messages.
