Is ChatBento the same as ChatGPT?
No. ChatGPT is OpenAI's product, and ChatBento isn't affiliated with OpenAI. ChatBento runs on Claude, a large language model made by Anthropic. "ChatGPT for your website" is shorthand for what people want: a chatbot that answers in plain, natural language. ChatBento gives you that, answering only from your own content.
Why is a chatbot trained on my site better than a generic one?
A generic AI chatbot answers from what it learned in training, which doesn't include your prices, opening hours or return policy, so it either can't help or guesses. ChatBento looks up the relevant parts of your pages, Q&As and text for every question and answers from those. When your content doesn't cover something, it says so and offers a contact form instead of making something up.
How do I add a ChatGPT-style chatbot to my website?

Is the model retrained on my website?
No. The model itself isn't changed. ChatBento splits your content into passages and, for each question, finds the most relevant ones and gives them to the model with the question. This is called retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). It also means a Q&A you add or edit is used as soon as it's processed, with no retraining.
Can it make things up?
It's instructed to answer only from your content and to say plainly when it doesn't know, and never to invent prices, policies, dates, links or contact details. No AI is perfect, so test it with your real customers' questions before launch and add a Q&A wherever an answer is thin.
