Thinkific's Site Footer Code runs on most pages of your site. Paste the ChatBento snippet there and the chatbot answers questions about your courses from your own pages, with one checkbox to show it inside the course player too.
Install on Thinkific in 5 steps
Where it goes: Settings → Code & Analytics → Site Footer Code

In ChatBento, open your chatbot, go to Install and copy the one-line snippet.

In Thinkific, go to Settings and open the Code & Analytics tab.

Paste the snippet into the Site Footer Code field.

To show the chatbot inside the Learner Hub and new course player too, tick “Also run this code on the learner hub and new course player”. Click Save.

Open your live site in a new tab and click the chat bubble in the corner to test it.

Paid plan, owner or admin
Thinkific's developer docs say Site Footer Code is only available on paid plans (Basic or higher), and it's edited by a Site Owner or Site Admin.
Where it doesn't run
Thinkific doesn't run Site Footer Code on Performance Checkout pages, community pages or direct messaging pages. The course player is skipped too unless you tick the learner hub checkbox.
If something breaks in the player
Thinkific suggests testing after you enable the checkbox and unticking it if anything misbehaves. The chatbot keeps working on the rest of your site either way.

It answers from your public course and sales pages, plus anything you add as text or Q&As. Lessons behind a login aren't crawled, so paste key details as text if you want it to use them.
Will it work in the course player?
Yes, if you tick “Also run this code on the learner hub and new course player”. Thinkific lists third-party widgets with their own containers as generally working there, and ChatBento runs in its own isolated container.
Does it show during checkout?
Not on Performance Checkout, where Thinkific doesn't run footer code. Visitors can ask questions on your sales pages before they get there.
