Add an AI chatbot to your Teachable school.
Teachable's Code Snippets add code to the head of every page in your school. Put the ChatBento snippet there and the chatbot answers prospective students about your courses, pricing and access, and hands anything else to you.

Builder plan and above
Teachable says school owners on the Builder plan and above can add Code Snippets.
Logged-in or logged-out only
To show the chatbot only to visitors (not enrolled students), or only to students, use Logged Out Snippets or Logged In Snippets instead of the head section.
SSO login and checkout pages
If your school uses SSO, Teachable's head snippets don't run on SSO-based login or checkout pages such as sso.teachable.com.
What the chatbot does on your Teachable site
Answers from your content
Trained on your pages, docs and Q&As. It says so when it doesn't know, instead of guessing.
Hands off to you
When a visitor needs a person, it collects their email and sends you the conversation.
Free to start
A free plan with 50 AI messages a month. Paid plans from $8/month: 80% less than Chatbase.

Teachable questions. Answered.
Can students ask it about lessons?
It answers from what ChatBento can read: your public course pages, plus any text and Q&As you add. Lessons behind a login aren't crawled, so paste the key details as text if students need answers about them.
Will Teachable support help if something breaks?
Teachable says its support can't debug third-party scripts, so contact ChatBento instead. Usually the fix is pasting the whole snippet, including the closing </script> tag.
Does it slow down my school?
No. The script loads asynchronously, is about 6 KB compressed, and renders the chat window only when a visitor opens it.
How much does ChatBento cost?
ChatBento has a free plan with 50 AI messages a month, free forever. Paid plans are Hobby at $8/month, Standard at $30/month and Pro at $100/month. New accounts start with a 14-day trial, no card required.
