Add an AI chatbot to your Jimdo site.
Jimdo has two editors, and only one of them accepts custom code. Jimdo Creator has an Edit Head setting where the ChatBento snippet goes once. Jimdo's newer Website Builder doesn't allow scripts at all, so check which editor your site uses before you start.
Install on Jimdo in 5 steps
Where it goes: Jimdo Creator: Menu → Settings → Edit Head

In ChatBento, open your chatbot, go to Install and copy the one-line snippet.

In Jimdo Creator, open the Menu and go to Settings.

Open Edit Head and paste the snippet.

Save the change.

Open your live site in a new tab and click the chat bubble in the corner to test it.

Jimdo Website Builder can't add scripts
Jimdo's own help center says the Website Builder (the newer editor) can't add custom HTML, scripts, external widgets or iframes. If your site was made with it, the chatbot can't be installed there. Jimdo points to Creator for custom code.
Which editor do I have?
If your Jimdo menu has Settings → Edit Head, you're on Creator and these steps work. If there's no place to add code, you're most likely on the Website Builder.
Code is your responsibility
Jimdo's support gives limited help with custom code. If the bubble doesn't show, check that the whole snippet was pasted, including the closing </script> tag.

Edit Head is Jimdo Creator's site-wide setting for code in the page head, so the snippet is added once rather than page by page. Open a few pages after saving to confirm the bubble appears.
